DAVID ALEX-BARTON hails from Boston. He
fondly calls his sound "New England Country",
but in fact it's an interesting and eclectic mix...
not surprising, since his musical resumé includes
a stint with the legendary Boston punk rock band,
The Outlets (of which he was a founding member);
and a publishing deal with Warner Chappell in the
1990s, writing everything from alternative rock to
classic country.  David also worked on the feature
film, "Hard Promises" with Sissy Spacek.  After a
break to raise a family, he's now back in the music
business "full force", composing and performing.
David recently did his first sessions for Wild Oats
Records -- you'll be able to hear him on our label's
upcoming Sampler CD, due early in 2011 -- and
we're pleased to have this very talented singer,
songwriter and guitarist as part of Team Oat.
